June 1, 2022

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), and Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the Collaborative Crisis Response and Intervention Training Program. This program furthers the DOJ’s mission by providing support to law enforcement on how to effectively partner with mental health, substance use

disorder, and community service agencies to promote public safety and ensure appropriate responses to individuals who have behavioral health conditions, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or physical disabilities (disabilities). Note: BJA uses the term “behavioral health” to include mental health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
